The weather forcast for Austria was bad – so we travelled some kilometres south to Slovenjia. Especialy the flight on last Monday was perfect – after long time of rain and strong wind lots of piots managed to fly nice XC-flights! On landingplace there were just smiling faces!

The season started with the fair in Bassano. Like always we enjoyed the beginning of spring there. Saturday was nice for flying, although the cloud base was very deep – but thermal works perfect. Rescue packing with Tomas (67)

Rescue packing can be boring – not if you do it with Tomas. He came with Peter, they build up a nice rope system, and lot's of pilots become like kids. Just having fun…OK, for us it was fun, for Tomas and Peter it was work. And of course we got back save packed rescues!

Nothing to fly in Austria, an invitation for a festival in Sinaia, so we started to go to Rumania into the Carpathian mountains. In our bags we had paragliders, speedgliders and snowkites. OK, we have no strong thermal, but nice winter landscape, blue sky, and of course we enjoy every flight. Daniel made training how to start and land with ski, and I was happy to test Eris 3.

Happy new year in Norma, Italy (92)

The first trip this year brought us to Norma, south of Rome. The way is long, around 1.000 kilometres through nearly whole Italy you have to drive. I was keen on testing Atis 3 in thermal, comparing to other gliders, but it came different. Norma is a very nice, historic small city on a hill, 20 kilometres away from the sea. Mistrovství ČR v přesnosti přistání 2009 se konalo 10.10 – 11.10.2009 v Beskydech. Bohužel nepřízeň počasí závody poznamenala. Létat se nedalo, ale závodit šlo, takže jsme nakonec odlétali 4 kola na Odrách. Výsledky: Martin Odrášek Radek Václavík Kamil Konečný

Listopad zdá se být velmi nabitý měsíc v jižní Andalusii, což tomu nasvědčovalo i množství padáků zavěšených nad kopcem. Využíváme možnosti být na startu první, přesto je potřeba se pořádně rozhlížet kolem sebe, dalo by se to nazvat „Fazolovým gulášem neboli Áčkovým masakrem“ :-)
