BRONTES
BRONTES is an
intermediate performance paraglider. BRONTES combines the very safe
behaviour of an intermediate wing in all DHV manoeuvres, with the
fine handling and outstanding performance of a modern super-class
glider. It has been developed for intermediate pilots with regular
practice who aim at long lasting thermal flights and wish
to reach new milestones on their cross-country escapes.
The name "BRONTES"
comes from an ancient Greek word for "thunder". Some classical
authors and poets also used it as a name for the maker of thunder,
and son of the Sky God Uranus. BRONTES is an exceptional paraglider
that lives up to its name. Thunder, in a blue sky!
A key to long flights is conserving pilot "nerves" and
energy. BRONTES cares for both.
Its safe and
reliable behaviour, as well as its direct and easy handling, help
the pilot concentrate on efficient flying. The handing and stability
of BRONTES are good not only for record breakers, but also for those
who simply want to build their skills on an exceptional wing with
local pleasure flying. It is a piece of cake to make the most out
of the performance of the BRONTES.
The low sink
rate can easily be turned into a flabbergasting climbing rate through
precise handling and exact banking while circling in thermals. The
canopy remains stable throughout the whole speed range and the glide
ratio is excellent in normal as well as in accelerated flight.
The Brontes is the right choice for those who wish to benefit from
the level of performance of a DHV 2 glider without giving up the
stable behaviour of a safe intermediate glider. It has also proved
to be a good choice for paramotor pilots looking for a more responsive
wing with very high aerodynamic output.
